Rosa Gomez
Coordinator, Transitional Year
Rosa joins the WellStar Kennestone GME team with more than 15 years of healthcare experience obtained in the Atlanta and NYC metro areas. She most recently served in administration at a privately-owned orthopaedic practice, and as the coordinator for the Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program at WellStar Atlanta Medical Center.
Edward Stettner
Program Director, Emergency Medicine
Dr. Ted Stettner joined WellStar Kennestone Regional Medical Center in 2017 as the inaugural Emergency Medicine Residency Program Director. Prior, he worked 13 years as faculty for Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, serving as Associate Residency Director. Dr. Stettner is an experienced educator, and is developing an innovative and diverse program dedicated to the development of outstanding clinical and academically minded residency graduates.
G. Waldon Garriss III
Program Director, Internal Medicine
Certified in both internal medicine and pediatrics, Dr. Garriss is a dedicated career medical educator who served on the Vanderbilt faculty for 12 years, where he was named one of the university's Master Clinical Teachers. He retains faculty appointments at Vanderbilt and at Georgia Regents University, Emory University and Mercer University.
Zenobia JonesFoster
Associate Inpatient Program Director, Internal Medicine
Dr. JonesFoster gained a unique perspective by working as a healthcare consultant before becoming an internist. She has worked with diverse pathology and populations including inner-city residents and veterans. A hospitalist at Kennestone Regional Medical Center, Dr. JonesFoster links her business background with her clinical knowledge to train medical residents to be well-rounded physicians who practice strong evidenced-based medicine, while treating patients and their teams with respect and empathy.
